The Amalfi Coast is a place where history, culture, and natural beauty converge in a way that leaves you spellbound. This fall, join me for an unforgettable week along this iconic coastline. We'll explore quiet towns, immerse ourselves in history, experience Italian life, cook and enjoy Italy’s finest food and wine.
🍝 The Flavors of Italy – Italy’s cuisine is as diverse as its landscape, and the Amalfi Coast is no exception. Learn how to make pasta in Gragnano, and indulge in a pizza-making class in Naples, where we’ll learn from a true pizza maestro. In Ravello, we’ll dive into the art of mozzarella-making, crafting fresh, creamy mozzarella from scratch with local artisans. And for seafood lovers, we’ll participate in a 5-course fish cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare some of the freshest catches from the Mediterranean. We’ll also hike through lemon groves, taste limoncello made from the area’s famous lemons, and enjoy every bite of the region’s culinary treasures. Every meal is an adventure, and you’ll leave with a newfound love for the tastes of Italy.
🍷 A Vineyard Journey – The Amalfi Coast’s wines are a hidden gem, shaped by the steep slopes and volcanic soils of the region. We’ll visit family-run vineyards for private tours and tastings, where you’ll learn the secrets behind each bottle and savor the flavors of this unique corner of Italy. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or simply love a good glass, this will be a highlight of the trip.
🏰 Timeless Beauty and History – Wander through centuries of history as we explore the Amalfi Coast’s stunning landmarks. Visit the ancient ruins of Paestum, home to some of the best-preserved Greek temples in the world. Meander through the medieval streets of Ravello, known for its breathtaking villas and sweeping views. In Positano, we’ll stroll along colorful streets leading down to the water, and in Amalfi, we’ll take in the grandeur of the cathedral and the town’s rich history.
⛵ Set Sail Along the Coast – There’s no better way to experience the Amalfi Coast than by boat. We’ll cruise from Vietri to Positano, taking in dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches, and charming coastal villages. We’ll stop in Amalfi and Positano for some shopping, tour the Roman Villa and the Cathedral, we’ll explore the town’s narrow streets and vibrant markets. The sparkling Mediterranean will be our backdrop every step of the way.
🌿 Our Home for the Week – We’ll be staying for a week in an 18th-century Palazzo, perched above the Amalfi Coast with sweeping views over the Gulf of Salerno. The rooms are a step back in time, adorned with frescoed walls and charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a bygone era. You’ll lose yourself in the beauty of the gardens, perhaps soaking in the views from your room with private bath or unwinding in the outdoor Jacuzzi, all while soaking in the rich culture and history that surrounds us.This isn’t just a vacation. It’s a chance to truly immerse yourself in the heart of Italy—where history, culture, and beauty come together in the most extraordinary way.
Cost: $5,500 per person, double occupancy.
A $1000 per person non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.
The balance is due August 15. Tour is limited to 12 guests
Tour includes transportation from and to Napoli airport or the train station in Salerno, daily transportation, meals with wine or beverage of choice, all excursions, entrance fees, and guides.
Check-in is available after 3:00 on Saturday October 4th.

🌿 Harvest Your Own Olives – Experience the ancient tradition of olive harvesting. Spend a morning picking olives by hand in my olive grove, then take them to the frantoio (olive mill). Watch the olives being pressed and learn the delicate process of transforming them into liquid xgold—extra virgin olive oil. End the experience with a fresh tasting of your very own olive oil. And yes you get to take a bottle home to share or keep for yourself.
🏞️ Hidden Gems Like Sarmonetta – Tucked away from the crowds, Sarmonetta is a peaceful, picturesque village perfect for those looking to experience authentic, off-the-beaten-path beauty. Explore its castle and visit my friend Fabio (known for his famous Trombolotto) for lunch and cooking demonstration.
🏛️ Historical Treasures – Walk through ancient Roman ruins, medieval villages, and timeless landmarks. Explore the majestic ruins of Terracina’s old town with its ancient Roman theater and tour the Temple of Jupiter Anxur, where panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and lush landscapes await. Discover the legendary Sperlonga, a white washed clifftop town with narrow winding streets. and home to the incredible Tiberius Grotto and spectacular ancient sculptures, including the famous "Marble Sculptures of the Odyssey"
⛵ A Boat Excursion to Ponza – Take a scenic boat ride to Ponza, one of the most beautiful islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Explore its crystal-clear waters, swim in hidden coves, and dive into the grottos that dot the island’s coastline. Whether you're swimming in the turquoise waters or relaxing aboard the boat, this excursion offers an unforgettable way to experience the beauty of Italy’s western coast.
Each day will start with Italian stye breakfast, we will have lunch at each amazing place we are visiting that day and then retire to our villa for dinner, prepared for us by our private chef.
Wine is included with meals. We are staying at a private villa. Each room has a private bath.
